Since 2013, the UK government has made it easier for offices to be turned into homes, hoping to ease the housing crisis.

This dissertation looks at the quality of life in these converted homes, using Terminus House in Harlow as a key case study, and drawing on interviews with industry experts. Along the way, it digs into bigger questions too: what actually makes housing "good," and how government policy shapes the answer.
